The Eagle 55-Gallon Open Head Lab Pack Drum provides a durable solution for storing, handling, and transporting hazardous materials and other compatible contents. Constructed from blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors, the drum is lightweight while providing resistance to weather, chemicals, and demanding industrial environments.
A removable white lid and plastic lever-lock band provide convenient access and secure closure. The open-head design can be used for lab packing smaller non-damaged containers such as bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails containing non-leaking hazardous materials. When used with leaking materials, Eagle specifies that sufficient sorbent material must be used and that no free liquids are permitted.
